We create distinctive printed material for artists, writers, musicians, independent businesses and creative projects. From small-run publications and artist zines to promotional print, each project is approached individually, bringing together typography, imagery, illustration and layout to create something that feels considered and appropriate to its subject.
Zine & Booklet Design
Zines and small publications offer an opportunity to work with sequencing, scale, paper, typography and image in ways that are very different from digital design.
We can develop a publication from initial ideas through to finished print-ready artwork, working with existing writing, photography and artwork or helping to establish the overall visual direction of a project.
Flyers, Posters & Promotional Print
Promotional material for exhibitions, performances, events, musicians, creative organisations and independent businesses.
Rather than relying on generic templates, designs are developed around the character of each project. Analogue processes, illustration, photography and hand-made elements can be combined with digital design to create promotional material.
Printing & Production
The choice of printing process can become an important part of the finished design. Depending on the project, work can be prepared for digital and giclée printing, risograph, lithography or screen printing, as well as more conventional commercial print production.
